AN exclusive Sun on Sunday poll reveals the public approve of King Charles and don’t want him to step aside for William.

Our survey, by Perspectus Global, polled 2,011 people across the UK.

More than half of those polled said that Charles has done a good job as King – and most don’t want him to step down to let William take the throneCredit: Getty

More than half – 1,046 or 52 per cent – said Charles has done a good job as King . . . 

Is the Monarchy important for our country?

Very: 32%
Quite: 38%
Not important: 17%
Not at all and should be abolished: 13%
