Christine Weil Schirmer joined Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s team in 2020 as head of communications at Archewell but left quietly late last year, it has been revealed.

She is the tenth staff member to have left the couple in the past three years. She is now said to have taken up a job with PR giant Brunswick advising clients on reputation management, according to the Daily Mail.

Described as “the real deal”, she previously worked for Apple and Pinterest and studied at Northwestern University in Illinois at the same time as Meghan Markle – but it is not known if their paths ever crossed.

This news has emerged just weeks after it was revealed that the Sussexes’ chief of staff Josh Kettler suddenly quit his job after barely three months in the role.

Speaking out following Josh’s departure, a former employee told the Mirror: “What may be most telling is that the entire time I worked there, I don’t think I heard a single current or former employee on their staff say they would take the job again if given the chance.”
