Hundreds of people packed into Glasgow Cathedral to watch the historic moment King Charles was crowned.
They followed proceedings on eight screens spaced out along the aisle of the grand kirk.

Locals, including a man in a Union Jack tie and a little girl waving a miniature British flag, sat in pews alongside tourists from China, Italy, Germany, Canada and America who were lucky enough to visit on the day of the spectacle.
But they missed the big moment the crown was placed on Charles’ head when the picture on the tellies dropped out.
An error message flashed up just before the words “God save the King” were uttered.
Retired engineer Andrew Walker, 59, from Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, was among those upset at missing the big moment.
He said: “Charles has waited 70 years for this and we missed it.
“It’s going to have to be the highlights on the telly tonight.”
A steady stream filed in and out to watch the historical moment, including families on a coach trip from North America.
Phlebotomist Melinda Friesen, 51, from Vancouver, Canada, said: “It was fantastic to see it.
“The Royal Family are much-loved back home.
“We all deeply respected Queen Elizabeth.
“We are waiting to see how Charles’ reign unfolds.”
Friend Gail Martin, 75, runs an animal sanctuary in Vancouver and was glad to time her trip to see the cathedral with the coronation.
She said: “We’re very lucky to be here.
“It’s a moment in history.”
Antonella Zamboni, 43, a wedding planner, from Parma, Italy, made time during her holiday for the coronation.
She said: “The royal family are respected the world over.
“It’s such a big deal and a once in a lifetime event.
“I’m glad I could be here to see it.”
