Prince Louis seems to the apple of the nation’s eye with his adorable hijinks, boyish smile and capacity to steal the show at every royal event he attends. Despite being only five, royal fans have come to expect their hearts to be warmed by the youngster’s mischief.
Resurfaced pictures of the little Prince from last Christmas have once more raised a smile, as they show him running lovelingly after his older sister, not wanting to be left behind.
The cheeky chap was pictured last year greeting well wishers in Sandringham after the family’s traditional Christmas Day church service. However, upon seeing his sister wandering off, he scampers after her sending the security team guarding him into a frenzy.
The gorgeous moment was captured by Karen Anvil, who was in attendance to pass on her best wishes to the family on the first Christmas Day since the passing of Queen Elizabeth II in September.
Posting the video on X, then Twitter, she wrote: “#PrinceLouis running back to Dad and his brother and sister … giving the security guards a heart attack in the process!!!”
The tiny boy could be seen holding a santa toy, which had been given to him by a member of the crowd.
Gemma Clark, 42, was there that day with her 72-year-old Dad Paul from Long Sutton in Lincolnshire. They gave toys to George, Charlotte and little Louis.
Ms Clark, who was wheelchair bound, said that it had been “absolutely brilliant” to meet Prince William, Princess Kate and the three youngsters.
She said: “I love them to bits, especially the children, the children are amazing. Prince Louis – I love Louis. He’s always cheeky, that Louis is, but I love him.”
Prince Louis hilarious behaviour is well-established at this point. At the Coronation Procession, the little boy could be seen putting his face close to the window and shouting something at the misty-eyed crowds.
TikTok superstar Krystin Kalvøy, who is a lip-reading specialist, claimed to know what the little boy was saying, which was up and until recently a mystery.
In the 12-second heartwarming clip, Krystin claims that the fourth heir to throne said: “What are you yelling to? What are you screaming to?”
Krystin’s TikTok analysis has drawn more than 3.2 million views, 217,900 likes and 849 comments, with some deciding that the young prince clearly wasn’t that bothered about the historic Coronation. Others thought his zany behaviour was “hilarious”, with one person joking: “That makes sense. He’s like what’s wrong with these people lol.”
