The Prince of Wales wrapped up his trip to Singapore for the Earthshot Awards by visiting one of Singapore’s most popular natural sites.

Prince William visited the TreeTop Walk, a site that features a 25-metre-tall suspension bridge that overlooks Singapore’s largest nature reserve. The Central Catchment Nature Reserve is nearly 3000 acres of lowland forests and a freshwater swamp forest.

He met with Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and discussed the importance of nature in cities.

The Prince also met with four representatives from the National Parks Board’s Youth Stewards for Nature programme that encourages volunteers who are 18-25 to explore different nature-related projects.

While at TreeTops, Prince William explained his plans for the future: “I care about so many things, and previously the family have been very much spotlighting brilliantly and going round and highlighting lots – I want to go a step further. I want to actually bring change, and I want to bring people to the table who can do the change if I can’t do it.“

This marks the end of a four-day visit to Singapore, where the Prince presented five winners with their Earthshot Prize awards.
