25th Anniversary of the Nordic Embassy Complex in Berlin

King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark , Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, and Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway joined the Presidents and First Ladies of Iceland, Finland and Germany to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Nordic Embassy Complex in Berlinon October 21st.

After their State Visit to Sweden, State Visit to Norway, an extensive Tour of Greenland, and a Summer Tour of Danish Municipalities, King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark are on an Accession Visit to Germany, which began when President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and First Lady Elke Büdenbender received the King and Queen in an official Welcome Ceremony at the Schloss Bellevue, the official residence of the Federal President of Germany, where the King reviewed the Guard of Honour. Later, King Frederik X and Queen Mary were received by Bundestag President Bärbel Bas and took part in a tour of the German Bundestag.

In the afternoon, King Frederik X and Queen Mary joined Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, and Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and First Lady Elke Büdenbender, President Alexander Stubb of Finland and First Lady Suzanne Innes-Stubb, and Icelandic President Halla Tómasdóttir and Björn Skúlason to jointly celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Nordic Embassy Complex in Berlin, at which Crown Princess Victoria and Crown Prince Haakon gave speeches.

The Nordic Embassy Complex in Berlin was opened by the Kings and Queens of Denmark, Norway and Sweden alongside the Presidents and First Ladies of Iceland, Finland and Germany in October 1999.
